Led by Dr Sarah Smith this project produced an evaluation of the ERDF funded Enabling Innovation programme which was designed to support innovative businesses. The evaluation focused on the experiences of the businesses on the programme and included detailed feedback taken from in depth interviews with participants. Members of the Enabling Innovation team were also interviewed and the final report was used to feed back to funders and to consider the design of future programmes.
